The clay group had an amazing afternoon playing with our new Raku Kiln. You never know what you're going to get with Raku - especially for relative beginners - but we got some lovely lustres on quite a few of our pieces.

The woodland-themed birdbath is now glazed and ready to be placed in the garden. Amazing to think that just a couple of weeks ago it was raw clay. Love the mushrooms!
Fresh out of the kiln is this birdbath - hand build by Ann Palmer.... It's been bisqued (the first stage in firing ceramics), and is ready to be glazed... watch this space!
